It is really easy to set up and requires very little maintenance.

We love the special edge trimmer that makes cutting the borders and edge easier.

This means you do’t have to worry about scraping the lawn mower blade on slabs or gravel when you attempt to do the edges.

It folds fairly small for easy storage and requires minimal effort to hold the trigger.

(Some lawnmowers require you to press two handles, whereas this one only has one trigger to hold, with a button for safe starting)

The blade measures 40cm so you can cut the grass quicker!

We love the unique handle, which makes it much easier to hold and to continually press for large lawns.

The small wheel and the front and large at the back make pushing the lawnmower very easy.

It is much easier to turn corners and to navigate and cut grass in tight areas thanks to the small front wheels.

The bargain buy petrol mower of this review.

It is a similar price to some of the cordless electric mowers on the market.

The Hyundai is an extremely well made affordable petrol lawn mower, it has a sleek anti rust body and weighs only 18kg.

(Which is still heavy but actually half the weight of many other petrol mowers.)

The clipping collection bag is large for ease of use, and the handle has a soft grip finish.

Pros

• Lightest petrol lawnmower in the review.
• Effective and quick, perfect for large gardens.

Cons

• This petrol mower is not self propelling, all the pushing has to come from you.

A compact petrol mower with a fantastic engine that suits all small to medium sized gardens.

It makes cutting the grass a breeze.

The large bag collects a lot of grass clippings before needing to be emptied.

It is an easy to start machine, usually starting first time, if not, then on the second pull.

The McCulloch doesn’t need much maintenance and folds surprisingly well, if you take off the grass bag and fold down the handle completely, it is very compact.

Of course, the machine is heavy, but this is to be expected when there is a petrol engine involved!

The McCulloch is available as a 40cm blade model or a 46cm blade.
